3d printed light shade compatible with the Neptune SKY LED aquarium light. Bringing the focus back to the display aquarium, this light shade blocks glare from the sunlight simulating LEDs used to grow coral.
While the intense light is needed for the coral's growth the excess spillage of light from above the display forces our eyes constrict the amount of light they take in: making the aquarium appear darker. 3d printed solid black plastic blocks the light spill above the aquarium which will suddenly become easier to look at without having to use a hand as a visor against the light spill.

I don’t usually do reviews as a rule but felt I should in this case. I am in the UK and needed a light shade for my Neptune Sky light (It is in our living room and boy does it need it). I couldn’t source one locally at all, so I took a bit of a gamble to order one from these guys in the US. The order was straight forward giving a reasonable shipping fee at the point of order. I had found another similar item which had a shipping cost more or less the same as the cost of the item! I was able to track all the way and it arrived after a week or so as stated. It was very well packed so no real chance of damage in transit. The unit itself is well constructed, a simple functional design with a removable cover that accommodates the substantial cable from the light, simple to fit and works perfectly. So, if you’re in the UK and are not sure about purchasing from the US, I can wholeheartedly recommend these guys at Eel River Coral.
